Highlight of the week: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
The Spiders-Men are back – and this time in double form! Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the open-world highlight of the week and, compared to its predecessor, it’s even better. The city is more vibrant, larger and more detailed than ever before, while a gripping story awaits you, with surprising twists and turns.
New additions include spectacular abilities and gameplay mechanics that let you swing even more creatively through the urban canyons or shine in fights – such as the Web Wings or Peter’s new symbiote suit.
But it’s not just the GameStar review that the sequel has impressed with. With 151 critic reviews, Spider-Man 2 has a proud metascore of 90 rating points So if you’re looking for a story that will captivate you like a spider web, with very cool combat and even better movement mechanics, you should keep an eye on the game.

- Space Engineers 2 (Early Access): This sandbox game wants to combine crafting, construction, survival and exploration in space again in the future. In Early Access, however, only the creative mode is available at first, in which you can tinker to your heart’s content.
- SCP: Fragmented Minds (Early Access): This first-person action survival horror game is set in the famous SCP horror universe. Here you awaken from cryosleep at the abandoned SCP Facility 113 on Mars and must face various anomalies, known as SCPS, using combat, stealth and crafting.
- Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.: The remaster of the popular fighting game brings some new features – including 4K graphics and rollback netcode.

- Eternal Strands: In this third-person action adventure, you take on the role of a young sorceress. Equipped with a magical cloak, you can manipulate elements such as fire and ice to fight enemies and influence your surroundings.
- Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap: The mix of third-person action and tower defense returns – and as always, chaotic battles, spectacular physics, and even more absurd Orc deaths await you.
Wednesday, January 29
- Coridden: This action role-playing game has a cool premise: your hero has the ability to transform into any creatures he has defeated.
- The End of the Sun: In this first-person adventure, you’ll explore a mysterious village as Ashter, a wise wizard with the ability to travel through time, in a Slavic fantasy world.
Thursday, January 30
- Sniper Elite: Resistance: Here you take on the role of Harry Hawker, an agent of the Special Operations Executive, and fight your way through Nazi-occupied France alongside the resistance to prevent the development of a miracle weapon. As always, with the well-known mixture of stealth and sniper action.
- Hello Kitty Island Adventure: In this life sim, you’ll join Hello Kitty and her friends on a tropical island to bring an abandoned resort back to life.
Friday, January 31
- Tactical Warfare: And finally, for the real-time strategy fans among you: the plot revolves around a war between two human factions: one group comes from a destroyed planet and is looking for a new home, while the native inhabitants of Earth see them as invaders.
