But even beyond that, we have a few smaller insider tips for you. So let’s take a look.

Highlight of the Week: Dune: Spice Wars
(Genre: 4X Strategy – Developer: Shiro Games – Publisher: Funcom – Release: April 26, 2022 (Early Access)
Whoever made the decision to develop a Dune game relatively close in time to the big Dune movie: Chapeau! Dune: Spice Wars is likely to open doors for many sci-fi fans, precisely because the classic Dune 2 from 1992 is still booked in the cultural memory under strategy legend. But can Spice Wars live up to such great expectations?

In principle, the game aims to shrink the complexity of global strategy down to crisply short games without sacrificing fun. As a noble house, your task is quite simple: take control on the desert planet Arrakis and eliminate the competition. Spice Wars focuses on resource management, battles – in other words, everything you would expect in the Dune universe.
On 26 April, the game will be launched in Early Access. The scope includes offline battles against the AI. Multiplayer and story campaign will follow in the coming months. We recommend you: Wait for our Early Access test this week before you grab it.
