New on Steam and Co.: Besides FIFA and WoW, more exciting games are released this week

September contains a few more real game smashers in its last moments. We summarise the most important releases of the week for you

What”s new on Steam and Co. to play? September is coming to an end, which means we can look closer and closer to the release-heavy months before Christmas. Already this week, however, one or the other hotly awaited title shows up.

Alongside the latest FIFA, the new addon to World of Warcraft Classic, Wrath of the Lich King, will be released. Plus, the cuddly Kena: Bridge of Spirits is also now coming to Steam after its Epic exclusivity.

But that”s not the end of interesting titles, so let”s get right to it:

Highlight of the week – WoW: Wrath of the Lich King

World of Warcraft Classic lets you go to war against the former hopeful and new Lich King Prince Arthas with the newly released expansion Wrath of the Lich King. All those who missed the epic finale of the story around Arthas X years ago can now make up for it with WoW Classic.

In addition to some exciting quests in the frosty Northrend, the expansion also offers other new features. With the Death Knight hero class, you can experience Azeroth in a whole new way and even start with it directly at level 55. Our WoW expert Mary believes that Wrath of the Lich King Classic could even be better than the original.

  • Terra Invicta: In this futuristic global strategy, you attempt to unite the Earth and the entire solar system.

    Tuesday, 27/09/2022

    • Grounded: After the Early Access phase, version 1.0 of the survival hit is now released. You fight as a shrunken child through the garden at home and fight ants, spiders and other insects.

    • Dome Keeper: In this roguelike, you drill for materials in mines to expand your base above ground and protect it from attacks.

    • Farming Simulator 22 – Pumps n” Hoses Pack: In the latest addon to the popular simulation, everything revolves around slurry. Over 30 machines are included in the DLC.

    • Kena: Bridge of Spirits: This cuddly adventure game is now available for purchase on Steam after its Epic exclusivity.

    • Destroyer: The U-Boat Hunter: The simulation brings you closer to life on a destroyer on the high seas. The game starts in Early Access.

      Thursday, 29/09/2022

      • Railgrade: Do you like trains? That would certainly be an advantage in Railgrade! In the management game you organise the rail traffic.

        Friday, 30.09.2022

        • FIFA 23: The final FIFA is released to coincide with the weekend so you can lead your favourite football team to the championship.
