This week the friendly spider from the neighbourhood swings onto the PC. But even aside from that, some hotly-anticipated build-up games are coming out
Finally, a really big AAA game again: The summer slump is not yet completely over, but Marvel”s Spider-Man already heralds an approaching end to the dry spell. Build-up strategy fans can also breathe a sigh of relief. The genre has one or two exciting titles in store this week. Of course, this fits in perfectly with our ongoing construction games week! You can find these and all other important releases of the week here in the overview. And they”re not just limited to Steam games this time.

Highlight of the week: Marvel”s Spider-Man
(Genre: Action-Adventure – Developer: Insomniac Games – Release: Friday, August 12, 2022)
The formerly Playstation-exclusive open world adventure will finally be available for PC gamers to experience! In the game, you swing through the urban canyons of New York City with Peter Parker alias Spider-Man and fight all kinds of crooks. However, the former in particular was already an absolute highlight at the Playstation release in 2018.
In Marvel”s Spider-Man, you face Mister Negative, who wants to take control of the criminal underworld of the Big Apple. At the same time, you have to overcome personal difficulties as Peter Parker.
You can play the remastered version with all the story DLCs from 12 August. The big adventure about the second Spider-Man Miles Morales is not yet included, but will be released separately at the end of the year.

(Cult of the Lamb): And another building game! If you”ve always wanted to start your own cult, this is your chance. As a possessed Lamb, you must ensure that your followers remain solid in their faith!
(Arcade Paradise): You transform a filthy laundromat into a 90s arcade in this adventure. In addition to managing and setting up the place, you can of course take a turn at the arcade machines yourself.
(Grid Force): In the stylish Bullet-Hell RPG you slip into the role of the warrior Donna. She is on a quest to find suitable team members to defeat the goddesses of Gora and claim their power for herself.
