As November kicks off, there are some hit games to look forward to. We tell you what you should definitely keep an eye on this week on Steam

New week, new games! In the following lines, we’ll tell you which titles you can look forward to in the next seven days – especially role-playing game and cyberpunk fans will probably be happy. But also puzzle lovers will come across a promising title.

Highlight of the week

RoboCop: Rogue City

(Genre: Shooter – Development studio:Teycon – Release: November 2)

Besides Blade Runner, RoboCop is arguably one of the definitive classics of the cyberpunk genre – about time the tinny cop shook off the cobwebs and beat up the gangs of Detroit in a modern game!

Set Rogue City between the second and third films, so it tells a standalone story The revived Alex Murphy, now fighting crime as RoboCop, has been established for a while and continues to work with his partner Anne. In this story, the New Guy in Town wants to mess with law enforcement while a mega-corporation makes plans to replace Old Detroit with a huge, modern city.

So you blast your way through the ranks of gangs in Rogue City, your steely body improving as you go. These turn out to be so detailed that it almost feels like a role-playing game.

If you want to know more about the story, the best thing to do is to watch the following trailer:

Other releases of the week

Tuesday, October 31, 2023

  • Remore: Infested Kingdom: This role-playing game transports you to a medieval, apocalyptic world: you have to fight against inhuman creatures with your pixelated battle squad, but you can take your time: The battles are turn-based.
  • Jusant: This atmospheric climbing game lets you climb a tower – yes, that’s actually it. The game from the Life-is-Strange makers certainly doesn’t look boring in the trailer, though. You’ll use ropes and grappling hooks to secure yourself as you scramble along human structures, magical plants, and steep mountain cliffs.
  • Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition – Kings of the Mountains: The new addon to the strategy hit brings you closer to the Armenians and Georgians in particular. With three new campaigns, you can also expect a few hours of gameplay.

    • Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story: LoL fans can get ready for a new story in this colorful universe: With the child Nunu and his yeti friend Willump, you go on a quest to find the boy’s mother and, of course, meet some champions of the successful MOBA. However, Song of Nunu is much less gloomy than the Netflix series Arcane, for example, and is very much intended for children.
    • This Bed We Made: In this mystery game, you take on the role of a maid in a 1950s hotel and go on the trail of a deadly crime.

      Thursday, November 2, 2023

      • For The King 2: Already the predecessor can enjoy 87 percent positive reviews on Steam, the second part of the fantasy role-playing game wants to convince no less. You can dive into the medieval world alone or in a group of four players and go into battle against the once popular queen of the realm in turn-based tactical battles.
      • EA Sports WRC: The new rally racer from F1 makers Codemasters also comes out this week. Our colleague Dennis was not only able to play the title, but also got behind the wheel in Sweden.
      • Back to the Dawn: As an unjustly imprisoned fox you have to fight your way through an animal prison – sometimes metaphorically, sometimes literally.
      • The Talos Principle 2: The puzzle game with beautiful graphics not only challenges your brain cells with logic brainteasers, it also asks philosphical questions again.

      Friday, November 3, 2023

      • StrangerZ: The asymmetrical multiplayer horror requires team play from you. While one goes on the hunt as a “stranger”, three others have to fight for survival. The principle is of course very reminiscent of Dead by Daylight, but StrangerZ is free.

      Sunday, November 5, 2023

      • Ratopia: Rats can build impressive cities too! In this building game you should set the perfect home for rodents as your goal. Every now and then, you’ll also have to defend your own four earth walls from intruders.

Na, is there one or the other exciting title for you? Can you imagine Rogue City leading to a new high of RoboCop or does the cyborg cop just feel too old? And what do you think of For The King 2 and The Talos Principle 2? Feel free to write us your opinions in the comments, we’re excited!
