Not only will many new games be announced during gamescom week, but some exciting titles will also be released on Steam and the Epic Store.
This week it”s finally gamescom again! It starts on Tuesday evening with the big Opening Night Live, where many exciting announcements and world premieres await you.
But with all the news about future games, we don”t want to forget about the here and now, of course, because there are some real highlights coming out on Steam and the Epic Store again this week.
Highlights of the week: Saints Row
(Genre: Action / Open World – Developer: Deep Silver Volition – Release: August 23, 2022 (exclusive to Epic)
GTA in even more twisted: that”s how the Saints Row series could be described, after all, the story got weirder and weirder with each spin-off until we ultimately have to save the world from an alien invasion and free the Saints leader”s soul from hell.
In the reboot of the series, on the other hand, things are much more realistic again: As the boss of the newly founded gang Saints, you fight against competing groups to secure control over the city of Santo Ileso.
In terms of gameplay, however, things remain largely the same: You can once again explore a huge open world, complete dozens of side quests and shoot your enemies with crazy weapons. We can”t tell you at this point whether you”ll be beating them up with oversized sex toys again.
You can find our review of Saints Row right on time for the release on GlobalESportNews – so keep your eyes peeled.
