There are some blockbusters coming to Steam this week. Strategy and shooter fans in particular can look forward to some real highlight releases.

This week, some real heavyweights are coming to Steam: Not only are several exciting shooters coming out, but fans of building games can also rejoice – because this week, one of the best building games of all time is being continued with a huge add-on.

As always, you can find all the important Steam releases of the week in our big overview.

Highlight of the week: Factorio: Space Age

(Genre: Building game – Developer: Wube Software – Release: October 21 (Steam)

Factorio: Space Age continues the story of Factorio from where it ended in the base game – after the first rocket has been launched into space. This expansion adds a whole new dimension to the game by allowing you to build interplanetary factories and explore new worlds.

You will travel to different planets, each offering unique resources and challenges. These resources are crucial to developing advanced technologies and advancing your game progress.

One of the most important new features of the expansion are the space platforms: These orbital factories not only serve research purposes, but also act as hubs for automated transport between planets.

Each planet presents you with unique challenges, whether it’s surviving in a volcanic environment or defending against giant native creatures that want to destroy your factories.

In addition to the new gameplay in the expansion, Factorio will also get major improvements for all players of the main game with the 2.0 update, such as improved train controls and new building options.
