Highlight of the week: Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
(Genre: Rollenspiel – Entwickler: Square Enix – Release: 23. Januar (Steam)
In Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you once again take on the role of Cloud Strife, a former elite soldier who joins the resistance group Avalanche. Together, you take on the powerful Shinra corporation, which is plunging the planet into ruin with its ruthless exploitation of mako energy.
But Shinra is just the beginning, because there is a much greater threat lurking: Sephiroth And anyone who knows this infamous name knows full well that things are about to get really serious.
What makes the remake so special is the successful blend of nostalgia and fresh ideas. The world seems more alive than ever, the characters will become even more dear to your heart, and the revised battle system combines action-packed real-time combat with tactical depth – only the large number of mini-games isn’t to everyone’s taste.

- Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel (Early Access): A Vampire Survivors clone that transports you to the world of Norse mythology to fight against endless waves of enemies.

- King Arthur: Legends Rise: The PC version of the turn-based mobile RPG transports you to a dark fantasy world in which you play King Arthur and recruit a group of heroes to save your kingdom from sinister forces.
Thursday, January 23
- Tokyo Xtreme Racer (Early Access): In this racing game, you race at night on Tokyo’s futuristic highways and challenge rival drivers to so-called “Spirit Point Battles,” in which the aim is to reduce your opponent’s points to zero by driving skillfully.
- SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada: In the new third-person shooter from Bandai Namco, you control an armed mech, collect valuable resources, fight against aggressive aliens and, if you want, also against rival players.
Friday, January 24
- The Quinfall (Early Access): an MMORPG with a huge medieval fantasy world. You can choose from numerous classes and professions, take part in PvE and PvP combat, build your own houses and use a complex crafting and trading system.
