On Steam, the year 2023 is now really kicking off, this week you can expect, among other things, a construction game with an ingenious idea.
After a yawning void of new Steam releases in the first week of the year, 2023 is now really taking off. Many exciting games are waiting for you this January and a potential highlight for construction game fans will be released on Steam this week.
Table of Contents
Highlight of the week: Aquatico
(Genre: Construction Strategy – Developer: Digital Reef Games – Release: January 12, 2023 (get the game on Steam))
In Aquatico, the first exciting building game of the year, an incredibly cool and unused scenario awaits you: in the post-apocalypse, you flee the surface of the earth, which has become a wasteland, and build a new civilisation on the ocean floor.
Life at the bottom of the ocean naturally brings its own challenges: you have to supply your inhabitants with oxygen, catch fish as a food source and even deal with attacking whales and sharks, against which you build special defences.
