Highlight of the week: Assetto Corsa EVO
(Genre: Racing – Developer: Kunos Simulazioni – Release: January 16, 2025 (Steam))
The racing simulation experts at Kunos are back this week. With the latest title , a gigantic open world in the middle of Germany awaits you in the summer – more precisely, around the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife leife.Over 1,600 square kilometers ofroads and race tracks will be available for you to conquer when the game is fully released in the Eifel region.
The upcoming launch into Early Access will be a forerunner of the open world, but only
in the form of a few self-contained race tracks.
But it’s not just the planned open world scope that impresses: thanks to a brand new engine, the game delivers photorealistic graphics, a dynamic weather system and driving physics that are supposed to make even the smallest details tangible. From entry-level cars to highly tuned supercars, every vehicle should feel unique.
So if you particularly value a realistic driving experience, the games of the Italian developers are usually the right choice for you – you can find out more about this in the video talk embedded above.
