The new week on Steam brings a whole bunch of fresh releases for everyone! Among a variety of small and large gems, one title stands out in particular: Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

The long-awaited sequel to the cult classic promises a gripping atmosphere, intense survival action and a thrilling story. But that’s not all – as always, we’ve put together a list of the most interesting new releases on Steam for you to check out this week.

Highlight of the week – Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

The Zone calls again! This week, Steam has a very special highlight in store for you: Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. After a 15-year wait and many setbacks during development, the legendary survival shooter series returns and once again takes you to the mysterious Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

As a lone stalker, you will once again explore a huge open world packed with dangerous mutants, deadly anomalies and rival factions. The developers at GSC Game World promise a gripping story that is significantly influenced by your decisions. In addition, modern graphics thanks to Unreal Engine 5 and a dynamic weather and day-night cycle await you, making the Zone more alive and dangerous than ever before.

Monday, November 18

  • Forgotten but Unbroken: In this XCOM-style turn-based tactics game from publisher Micropose, you lead a resistance group against the Axis powers in World War II. You build a base, recruit fighters, and carry out dangerous missions.

  • Rogue Command (Early Access): Classic real-time strategy meets roguelike mechanics. Build bases, collect resources, and create an army – but the units and technologies available to you change with each run.

Tuesday, November 19

  • Towers of Aghasba (Early Access): Rebuild a ruined civilization in an open world and revitalize the environment by building villages and bringing back unique plants and animals. The game combines building, ecosystem management, and exploration, playable solo or in co-op.

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: The great successor offers many improvements over MS Flight Simulator. You can expect over 65 aircraft, an improved physics engine, and new career modes like air rescue and cargo transport.

    Wednesday, November 20

    • Luma Island: You and your caravan are stranded on an island and have to build a magnificent mansion. For the necessary change, you can not only become a farmer, but also a cook, brewer or archaeologist. It can also be played in co-op.

    • Supervive (Early Access): Wild mixture of MOBA, Battle Royale and Hero Shooter from the isometric perspective. The fights are reminiscent of V Rising and Battlerite from the Stunlock Studios.

    Thursday, November 21

    • Dungeon Clawler (Early Access): A roguelike à la Slay the Spire, in which you have to draw your actions like attacks but from a vending machine to play them.

    • Star Wars Outlaws: Ubisoft’s open world in the Star Wars universe is now also available via Steam.

      • Loco Motive: a classic point-and-click adventure in which you control three characters on board a luxurious train who become entangled in a murder mystery.

      Friday, November 22

      • Strinova: To wrap up the week, another multiplayer shooter… with anime girls. At least there’s a cool-sounding mechanic where you can transform into your 2D form at critical moments and then become a hard-to-hit line in the landscape.
