This week will be a dream come true for medieval fans, as two exciting games set in the dark era will be released on Steam
We all know that the Middle Ages in all their facets are a magical attraction for GlobalESportNews readers. So it’s all the better that this week will be doubly exciting for all fans of this era! In this week’s Steam releases, you’ll find not one, but two games that will take you back to this dark time.
Highlight of the week: Manor Lords
(Genre: Building strategy – Developer: Slavic Magic – Release: April 26 (Early Access at Steam, GOG, Game Pass)
No game is currently more eagerly awaited than Manor Lords: The building game is the most requested game on Steam, and according to publisher Hooded Horse, over 2.5 million people have already added it to their wishlist .
Here you take on the role of a medieval ruler who is building his empire from the ground up. You start with a few settlers and resources and must build warehouses, houses and production facilities to develop a thriving settlement.
The game is characterized by an organic-looking construction system that allows for intuitive placement of roads and buildings. And if you feel like it, you can even take a stroll through your village from a third-person perspective and watch the hustle and bustle from up close.
Our strategy experts are already hard at work settling and have discovered many strengths. But despite the huge potential, there are a few challenges that can disrupt the flow of the game. Find out what these are in our last big preview before the release:
