Between Warhammer and Star Wars, this week’s new releases also include some smaller role-playing game gems.

While our highlight of last week (Lost Ark) is becoming the second most successful game in Steam history, a true strategy colossus is getting ready to attack. What you can expect from it and what other little gems are coming out this week, we’ve summarised for you as always in our PC Releases of the Week.

Highlight of the week: Warhammer 3

Finally it appears, the eagerly awaited finale of the Warhammer trilogy. With eight playable factions, brand new mechanics, reworked diplomacy and a further expanded multiplayer, there is more in the release version than ever before.

The Chaos Demon faction in particular stands out with its Demon Prince leader, whose decisions not only unlock new units, but also body parts – thanks to mutation.

With the realms of the chaos gods, the map will be bigger than ever and can be combined with those of the two direct predecessors via free DLC. However, it is not yet possible to estimate when this will appear.

In Total War: Warhammer 2, Creative Assembly originally had problems getting the turn times on the unified map down to a playable level. A few patches later, however, they have proven that the dream of a single massive Warhammer world is indeed performable.

Total War: Warhammer 3 played for hours – it’s going to be massive!
