Table of Contents
Rimworld: Anomaly
(Genre: Building game – Developer: Ludeon Studios – Release: April 11 (Steam)
The acclaimed colony simulation game Rimworld is getting its next big DLC – and this time it’s really spooky, because the new addon is inspired by horror movies and the Cthulhu mythos.
A sinister obelisk appears in your game world. As soon as you interact with it, you awaken a nightmarish deity from its slumber and have to face a wide range of horror scenarios.
You can capture and explore the monsters, such as zombies or giant flesh creatures, which allows you to perform dark rituals and possibly harness the evil deity’s powers for your own purposes.
Infection Free Zone
Genre: Building game – Developer: Jutsu Games – Release: April 11 (Steam / Early Access)
In the build-up game Infection Free Zone the world has been plunged into chaos after a zombie virus has turned a large part of humanity into highly aggressive monsters. Your goal is to research a cure for this virus
The special thing about it: At the start of the game, you can choose any location in the world to become an infection-free zone and set up your base there. The game uses data from OpenStreetMap, so you can even turn your own house into a fortress
Shops, pharmacies and more from the real world will also be depicted in the game, so that the supermarket around your corner will also appear in the game and you can have your exploration troops search for food there.
