After The Last of Us and Witcher Fallout could be the next big video game series adaptation. Produced by Amazon Prime, the final filming for it is currently taking place. Notable people such as Jonathan Nolan, who was also on board for HBO’s Westworld or interstellar, are also involved. Now some unofficial set pictures have surfaced showing us the scope of the upcoming Fallout series.

The Fallout Amazon Prime series will be the long-awaited TV series based on the popular post-apocalyptic video game series. Following the first official teaser image last year, new photos from the set have now been released, further fuelling fans’ anticipation.

The images not only give us a rough idea of the impressive sets of the action-packed production, but also reveal some of the actors who will appear in the series. It remains a mystery, however, how these amateur shots made their way onto the net, as they are obviously not from official footage.

What does become clear, however, is that the post-apocalyptic charm for which the “Fallout” series is known has been captured perfectly. The series makers seem to have realised this character perfectly. Filming is said to have been completed for a few months now, suggesting a possible start early next year.

However, Amazon’s Fallout series will not be a pure retelling of the games, but will rely on its own story and interpretation. So fans can look forward to seeing how this live-action adaptation will bring the world of Fallout to life.
