An accessory manufacturer showed a model of the Nintendo Switch 2 at CES 2025.
At CES 2025, an accessory manufacturer is presenting a model that roughly shows the design of the Nintendo Switch 2.
Why this is important: Currently, new leaks and rumors about the Nintendo Switch 2 are emerging almost daily. Now, behind closed doors at CES 2025, an accessory manufacturer has shown a replica of the Nintendo Switch 2 that could well resemble the final model.
In detail: Netzwelt was able to take a first look at the Nintendo Switch 2 in a hotel away from the exhibition center. There, colleagues were guests at the accessory manufacturer Genki.
- According to the manufacturer, the dummy model has the exact dimensions of the Switch 2.
- The Joy-Cons can also be removed as with the final console. However, a magnetic mechanism, as suspected for the Switch 2, is missing from this dummy.
According to Netzwelt, the device feels significantly larger in the hand than the Nintendo Switch 1.The dimensions are roughly similar to those of the Lenovo Legion Go. This has an 8.8-inch screen. According to the information available so far, the Switch 2 is equipped with an 8-inch screen.
Genki has also presented a trailer video that shows the console from several sides and with the manufacturer’s accessories:

The right Joy-Con also features the new button. This is said to be a new “C” button, but its function is not yet clear.
Although Genki is already planning eight accessories for the Switch 2, they have not yet been able to reveal a release date.
What do you think of the look of the alleged Nintendo Switch 2? Are you looking forward to a larger display or do you think the handheld might be too big? Do you think that the final model will be similar or even identical to this dummy? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
