Nvidia’s Omniverse platform entered open beta in late 2020. Now the platform is available to everyone. In a video, Nvidia showcases some of the projects created with Omniverse.

“What you’re about to experience is a simulation of the Omniverse,” are the words Nvidia uses to open the video introducing the Omniverse platform.

Omniverse, according to Nvidia, will become the tool that users and companies use to create three-dimensional content for the metaverse. The tool supports features such as PhysX for realistic physics simulations or Flow for complex particle effects.

Users can import 3D models created in applications such as Maya or the Unreal Engine into Omniverse. In Omniverse, users can interact with the 3D models through programme code with AI support, for example.

If this sounds interesting to you, you can download Omniverse from Nvidia’s website.
