After Netflix went down the drain with one or two live-action adaptations of popular anime, fans are extremely critical of the production of One Piece. The new trailer is at least hopeful and also reveals the start date.

Good news for anime fans! The Netflix series of One Piece has a start date! On 31 August you will set sail together with Ruffy, Zorro and Nami. The latest trailer not only reveals some epic shots of the ships, it also shows off the droll humour of the anime and manga.

The character design of the first three members of the Straw Hat Pirates already stands out positively. Now, of course, the question arises of how to depict figures like Big Mom, who stand out mainly because of their extreme proportions. In the case of Nami, they have (fortunately) dispensed with this.

By the way, a new One Piece game with Ruffy and Co. was released in January this year. You can find out all about it (here).
