Palworld: New update protects your base from fire and cheaters, here are the patch notes

Update 1.4 for Palworld not only includes numerous bug fixes. There are also initial measures against cheaters and some comfort changes

Despite the huge success of Palworld the developers are of course not yet finished with the Early Access title. A new update now brings some important bug fixes, comfort changes and anti-cheat measures We summarize the most important things for you

This changes Update 1.4 in Palworld

Anti-cheat measures: Several measures have been taken to prevent the use of cheats and the theft of Pals.

Bugfixes: Numerous bugs and causes of crashes have been fixed, including a bug that led to broken savegames.

  • It is no longer possible to capture another player’s Palif they have less than 30 percent health points.
  • Fixed an issue where crashes and corrupted saves could occur when your guild has caught around 7,000 Pals in total. Already affected saves will not be fixed with the update, but the developers are working on a permanent solution
  • A bug has been removed that caused extremely strong Relaxosaurs to attack your base.
  • Fixed several issues where Pals would get stuck in your base or otherwise impair their function.

Gameplay and convenience changes: Furthermore, some practical changes have also been implemented to simplify your everyday life when collecting pals.

  • You can now continue to move very slowly if you exceed your carrying capacity.
  • You can now pick up your Pals on the PC using the V key instead of the F key to avoid accidentally picking them up.
  • Fire spreads more slowly and less far in wooden bases.
  • Further keys can now be assigned in the options, such as mouse buttons and the keypad.
