Patron is a new building game from Croatia that is heavily inspired by Banished and Anno. In the launch trailer you can see the different weather conditions and how pretty villages can look in the strategy game. The game was released on Steam and GOG.com on 10 August 2021 at a price of just under 20 euros.
Similar to Banished, you have to gather food in summer and autumn so that the inhabitants of your medieval settlement can survive the bitterly cold winter. Patron also tries to depict the social inequalities in this era of human history; similar to Anno, there are different classes of inhabitants with different needs.
