All New Games in May 2022!

What new games are coming to PC Game Pass in May 2022? We list for you all the new additions and the games that will soon be leaving the service.

It’s hard to believe, but the next month in 2022 is already dawning. Which means? New games are moving into PC Game Pass for subscribers to play. This month, you can expect a sleek samurai game and a space game of a different kind, among others.

Please note: Microsoft hasn’t released a detailed list of all the new additions yet, but we already know of some games that will be joining the service this month. We’ll also keep an eye out for you and update this article as soon as Microsoft reveals more information.

Trek to Yomi

(Genre: Action – Developer: Flying Wild Hog – Release: 05 May 2022 – In Game Pass from: 05 May 2022)

At first glance, the story of Trek to Yomi sounds very ordinary: protagonist Hiroki has to experience at an early age how his teacher dies in a brutal attack. Years later, he seeks revenge on the one hand and wants to protect the people close to him on the other. So far, so familiar.

The strengths of Trek to Yomi may not necessarily lie in the story, but in the visual presentation, which is kept monochromatic, and in a crucial game mechanic. As expected, the sword fights are the highlight of Trek to Yomi and play pleasantly smoothly. Find out more in our preview:

Hardspace: Shipbreaker

(Genre: Space Action – Developer: Blackbird Interactive – Release: May 24, 2022 – In Game Pass from: May 24, 2022)

After almost two years in Early Access, Hardspace: Shipbreaker is now ready, levitating the anti-building game into the full version. Why anti-building, you ask? The answer is simple, because in the new game from the Homeworld makers you are a kind of scrap collector and have to dismantle space stations and spaceships.

At first glance, this sounds easier than it really is. After all, you are in space and the physical and technical conditions there are not necessarily simple. If you make a small mistake, it can happen that the spaceship explodes directly or that you push off an object too momentumously and end up in the vastness of space.

Sniper Elite 5

(Genre: First-person shooter – Developer: Rebellion – Release: 26 May 2022 – In Game Pass from: 26 May 2022)

Never change a winning team already ensured the victory of the English national team in the 1966 World Cup. So it’s no wonder that the British development team Rebellion also relies on this motto for Sniper Elite 5.

This time, the fifth part of the series sends you to France at the time of the Second World War, where it is once again a matter of destroying a secret operation for the protagonist Fairburne. To do this, you sneak through fairly open levels and shoot enemies from a distance – after all, you are a sniper. Alternatively, you can prefer open combat.
