Which games will be added to the PC Game Pass in April 2022? We list all the new additions and also the games that will be removed from the subscription.
As we all know, April does what it wants. But there is one constant, at least for PC Game Pass subscribers: new games that move into the subscription service and can be played by you. This month there are again some exciting indie titles such as Chinatown Detective Agency, but with the emotional adventure Life is Strange: True Colors a big name also finds its way into this list.
And always remember: Microsoft will almost certainly announce more new additions in the course of the month. Of course, we’ll keep our eyes and ears open and update this article for you as soon as we get wind of them. You can also take a look at our list of all the titles in the PC Game Pass:

Life is Strange: True Colors
(Genre: Adventure – Developer: Dontnod Entertainment – Release: September 10, 2021 – In Game Pass from: April 12, 2022)
The latest game in the popular Life is Strange series takes you to the sleepy little town of Haven Springs. You return home in the guise of young Alex Chen, but peace is short-lived. Your brother dies in a mysterious accident and it is up to Alex to uncover the background of this incident and find out the truth.
How does she do it? Alex has supernatural abilities, thanks to which she can perceive the feelings of other people as a coloured aura. But not only that: she can also absorb and manipulate these auras. If that sounds exciting to you, you should definitely give the title a try.
Chinatown Detective Agency
(Genre: Adventure – Developer: General Interactive Co. – Release: April 7, 2022 – Im Game Pass from: April 7, 2022)
What does a policewoman do after she hangs up her service weapon? In the case of Amira Darma, the answer is: she sets up her own detective agency and does what she does best, namely solve dangerous cases.
And that explains what Chinatown Detective Agency is all about. You can choose a client in your detective agency, travel around the world and put a stop to the criminals. It’s all set in the year 2037, in a futuristic version of Singapore where Amira plies her trade.
The world is marked by economic turmoil and almost exudes a dystopian flair. But don’t expect any visual highlights, because the game relies on oldschool pixel art.
Lost in Random
(Genre: Action-Adventure – Developer: Zoink Games – Release: September 10, 2021 – In Game Pass from: April 14, 2022 (EA Play required))
Lost in Random is a mix of action-adventure and strategy, throwing you into a dark fantasy world ruled by a sinister, power-hungry queen. You play the girl Even who, together with her sister Odd, wants to do something about this evil.
To do so, you travel through six different regions, each of which represents a social class in terms of appearance and inhabitants. There is also fighting, of course, and this is where things get strategic: you don’t just strike with your sword, you also have to throw your companion, a magic dice, around. Depending on the number you roll, you can draw ability cards from your pack of cards.

More new PC games in Game Pass in April
From April 12:
(The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk): A tactical role-playing game that comes with a lot of humour. You send a troop of heroes into turn-based battles against over 100 different enemy types and bosses. The action is livened up by witty conversations between the characters.
(Panzer Corps 2): Turn-based strategy in World War II, which relies on the hex gameplay known from the predecessor and also has a multiplayer mode. A total of over 1,000 different units are available.
