What new games are popping up for Xbox Game Pass for PC in March 2022? As always, you can find all the upcoming titles in our monthly overview.
In March, not only does spring finally arrive, a fresh breeze also blows through the PC Game Pass. Because this month, of course, new games will be released that you can play with the subscription at no extra charge. Guardians of the Galaxy is another great title this time, which convinced us above all with its exciting story. And of course the soundtrack is just as fantastic as in the films.
Microsoft will surely announce more new additions in the course of the next few weeks – we know the game by now. Of course, we’ll keep this article up to date for you.
Far: Changing Tides
(Genre: Adventure – Developer: Okomotive – Release: Mar 1, 2022 – In Game Pass from: Mar 1, 2022)
The sequel to Far: Lone Sails once again sends you on an arduous journey. This time, however, our sailing ship really floats on stormy seas instead of gliding across the desert floor. Even dives are now possible.
And of course it also gets very emotional and melancholic again: we slip into the role of Toe, who braves the elements all alone and explores the submerged ruins of the world. This special basic mood has already inspired many fans for the first part, Far: Changing Tides wants to deliver more of it to you from 1 March.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is a true single player game compared to its predecessor Marvel’s Avengers. The strong story with its many interesting characters is clearly more in the foreground this time. From tragic events to hilarious encounters, everything is there.
Once you’ve met all the heroes, you’re ready to go. Whether in close combat or from a distance with one of the many superhero abilities: In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy there is a lot of action. In the many detailed levels, you should do everything in your power to defeat your enemies and eliminate the threat.
Shredders
(Genre: Sports – Developer: I-Illusions – Release: Mar 17, 2022 – In Game Pass from: Mar 17, 2022)
If you haven’t had enough of winter yet, Shredders will fulfil your snowy snowboarding dreams. Your task: perform spectacular stunts in front of icy backdrops and film yourself doing so, of course. Let off steam either in the story mode, in the open game world or in the online co-op – but you will need a controller, mouse and keyboard are not supported.
Weird West
(Genre: Action Role-Playing Game – Developer: WolfEye Studios – Release: 31 March 2022 – In Game Pass from: 31 March 2022)
Weird West lives up to its name and presents you with an unusual setting: Diablo meets gunslingers in America who fight against fantasy monsters. You travel through this world alone or together with characters you meet on your journey. The action RPG aims to offer a believable sandbox in which your decisions have a noticeable influence on the world and its inhabitants.
More new PC games in Game Pass in March
* Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 is the third and final part of the role-playing game saga. In the usual manner, you have to fight your way through the large world with its many tasks. (in Game Pass from 3 March)
* Kentucky Route Zero is a story-driven 2D adventure game in an episodic format. However, the story is clearly the main focus in this game.(in Game Pass from 10 March)
* Lawn Mowing Simulator is a real lawn mowing simulator in which you have to build up a company. Among other things, your tasks are to complete orders, buy machines and organise employees. (in Game Pass from 10 March)
* Young Souls combines RPG elements with the beat ’em up genre. Alone or in pairs, you fight your way through the extremely interesting teenage story as Jenn and Tristan. (in Game Pass from 10 March)
These games are leaving Game Pass in March
As usual, some games are leaving the Game Pass library. You can still buy them before then with the usual discount if you want to keep playing them. So far, only one goodbye has been confirmed, more should follow in the next few days.
