Elden Ring gives you quite a few tools to make your game easier. Now someone has even managed to do it without attacking once themselves

Elden Ring forgives very few mistakes and demands everything from the players. Every hit has to be well aimed and every evasive manoeuvre has to be used purposefully. At least that’s what we thought until now: because a well-known Souls Youtuber shows in his video how he was able to play through From Software’s latest title without a single attack.

Prophet and Pacifist

The well-known Souls Youtuber (Iron Pineapple) demonstrates in his new video how strong Ghost Ashes can be even after patch 1.03, ending Elden Ring with only the use of healing spells.

How did Iron Pineapple do it? The YouTuber chose Prophet as his starting class because he focused entirely on Faith and the healing spells that go with it. The ghost ashes are strong, but they need support especially in longer boss fights, as they do not dodge many attacks. Some of them also don’t have a shield to hide behind from time to time.

Furthermore, he uses different spirits for different bosses, depending on where the weaknesses of the respective boss lie. Godrick, for example, is susceptible to Scarlet Rot, which is why Iron Pineapple gets the Rotten Stray Ashes from Caelid for this fight. Although the nasty wolf dies relatively quickly, the scarlet rot causes Godrick’s health to decline over time until this contemporary also lies in the dirt.

As soon as you reach Liurnia, you unlock the possibility to upgrade your ghost ashes, which of course Iron Pineapple also makes use of. Otherwise, he simply lets gravity work for him on bosses like Radahn and the Dark Cavalry and also likes to let nasty opponents jump to their deaths to defeat them. With the symbiosis of spirit ashes and precisely timed healing spells, he fights his way through to the last boss and is able to defeat it as well. If you want to watch the video yourself, however, you should be prepared for massive spoilers.

Have you already dared to do crazy builds or do you prefer to leave it to other players to watch them do it? Tell us about it in the comments!
