To get the coveted trophy, characters have to level up to level 100. One unusual method seems to be particularly effective

Nearly two weeks after its release, it was clear that the shooterConcordwould be discontinued. In a statement, game manufacturer Sony announced that it would be removing the shooter from all stores on September 6.

In the last remaining hours that Concord has left, however, some players are still tryingto get their hands on a particularly coveted platinum trophy– which sometimes leads to curious scenes.

Multiplayer rounds end quickly

It’s about the platinum trophy “Living Legend”. According topsnprofiles.comjust over one percent of players have this achievement. In order to obtain Living Legend, all other trophies must first be obtained.

This means, among other things, that players must have leveled their character to level 100. In order to reach the required level at the last minute, trophy hunters are currently trying to earn as many experience points as possible.

One method seems to be particularly fast – but also shows absurd scenes in the multiplayer shooter. The core of the game is the rivalry mode, in which two teams of five players compete against each other.

At the moment, however, some teams do not fight each other. Instead, as soon as the game starts, everyone and their characters run to the nearest cliff and fall into the abyss.

The game ends after a very short time and the participants receive experience points with relatively little effort. User Radec shows what this looks like in a video onX, formerly Twitter:

Radec himself writes, however, that he has only risen by one level within an hour using this method. Another user also posted a guide on how to reach level 100 in 70 to 100 hours. A little late for a game that goes offline in just under 24 hours

The reason for the end of Concord was the poor player numbers.Although no concrete data is available for the PlayStation due to the lack of an interface for data retrieval.

But the player numbers on Steam give an idea of how bad things are for Concord. The game reached its all-time high on Valve’s platform on August 23, 2024, the day it was released – with just 697 players. Otherwise, the shooter sometimes bobbed along at 100 players worldwide
