Alola-Vulnona convinces on the lanes with distance abilities that freeze the opponent. These crowd-control features make the Fox Pokémon a good cornerstone for any team in Pokémon Unite and at the same time a supporter for the lane partner.
Thanks to the passive ability Snow Warning, Alola-Vulnona creates a trickling snow. This falls on the opponent, deals damage and also reduces the movement speed of the person hit. Combined with improved attacks, opponents can also be frozen for a short time.
Items for increased special attack
Items like Shell Bell, Wise Glasses and Special Attack Specs in particular help to increase penetrating power. However, Muscle Band is also recommended for increasing the basic attacks. Especially in combination with the Aurora Veil ability, Alolala-Vulnona becomes an attack machine.
Alternatively to the attack items, mobility buffs through Float Stone are suitable. As a combat item, a distinction must be made depending on the play style. Those who want to stay alive and mobile as long as possible reach for the universal item Eject Button. For the fox, however, X Attack is also suitable for offensive play, in order to frostily heat up the opponent at the decisive moment.
Starting with Alola-Vulpix, the match begins with Powder Snow. Icy Wind follows at level 3. Choosing the first attacks rarely matters. In general, Powder Snow is good for slowing down the opponent in addition to the damage inflicted. Go in on the top lane, where especially wild griffons give a lot of experience needed to start the game.
Development and choice of attacks
First of all, it is important to get to level 4 quickly. This will result in the progression to Alola-Vulnona. With the evolution, there are two options for the attacks Dazzling Gleam or Avalanche. The former stuns the opponent, while the latter creates a wall and deals high damage. Both abilities are useful, but for more control, Dazzling Gleam is the better choice here.
The attack, which awaits you from level 6, becomes decisive. You have the choice between Blizzard, a powerful ranged attack, or the buff
Aurora Veil. With the second option, Alola-Vulnona creates a circular area in whose area of effect enemy damage is reduced. This also applies to team members. In addition, the base attack and speed is increased.
As a rule, players of Alola Vulnona should make use of Aurora Veil as often as possible. Because the buffs in the area of effect help to gain an advantage when it comes to attacking and also defending the Goal Zones. Only if your own team has more attacking problems, Blizzard should be used.
The kit of Alola-Vulnona is rounded off by the unite attack Snow Globe. The attack is perfect for really cleaning up in team fights. In a wide radius, all opponents are captured and massive damage is dealt. Extra Damage is given to those who are frozen during the attack.
All in all, Alola-Vulnona should always be played in combination with a lane partner to decide games to your own advantage. The fox creature is not suitable for solo runs and should rather concentrate on affecting the opponents with the frosty abilities and strengthening the teammates with Aurora Veil.
