The new year kicks off with some real bangers for PS Plus subscribers. In January 2022, three fresh Playstation games are ready for you to download and keep forever. As always, the promotion runs from 04-31 January. So you can still get the last PS Plus games of December!
What awaits PS Plus subscribers in January
Persona 5 Strikers
The sequel to the massive Japano RPG Persona 5 picks up right where the main game’s story left off. But unlike the original and pretty much all RPGs from Japan, Persona 5 Strikers is not about turn-based, but real-time combat. The fantastic anime style, the massive battles and numerous deep role-playing elements make the JRPG a top title for the long winter. The various characters grow so close to your heart that even after over a hundred hours of play, you won’t want to put the ATLUS title down and move straight on to the other Persona parts.
Dirt 5
In January there is once again something for the racing game fans among the PS Plus subscribers. The Dirt series is one of the firm institutions of the arcade racing genre and the fifth part of the series is one of the best in the entire series. In the usual Dirt manner, you drive a wide variety of mobile vehicles on off-road tracks in numerous competitions and modes. Of course, you also earn rewards and unlock even more cars for your digital fleet. In Dirt 5, you can drive around Rome, China, New York and Norway, among other places. But don’t forget that with the pretty surroundings of the new locations, your rivals are always just a glance in the rear-view mirror away from you and the top position!
Deep Rock Galactic
Multiplayer friends and PS Plus subscribers won’t go empty-handed in January either. In Deep Rock Galactic, you take on up to four mining dwarves in space with friends in online co-op. A crazy and fun scenario. Your task is to collect as many valuable minerals as possible on alien planets, to complete various tasks as a team and to defend yourself against the deadly underground flora and fauna. Deep Rock Galactic combines action-shooter gameplay with survival and crafting elements, and the randomly generated caves make each round slightly different, similar to the rogue-like genre.
