The game Everywhere could be the next biggest hit. According to new information, it could be like the movie Ready Player One as a video game.
The new studio Build a Rocket Boy is currently working on the title Everywhere. The idea for this came from ex-Rockstar boss Leslie Benzies. Benzies played a significant role in successful titles such as GTA, Max Payne, L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption. With other former Rockstar employees, he founded a new studio in 2018 to realise his idea. Now there is new information about the project.
If you try to find something about Everywhere, you’re in for a surprise. There is hardly any information about the game at the moment. If you go to the official site, you will only find short text excerpts and a lot of job advertisements.
However, you can always get some information through Reddit and the Twitter fan page Everywhere Network. This account also announces news about the game from time to time. Also recently new information came to light:

According to the tweet, the game is supposed to be like the real life movie “Ready Player One”. It is also said to offer an open world multiplayer experience that fans can fill with content. In addition, Everywhere is said to offer social interaction and streaming capabilities.
What can we expect?
It’s quite possible that the game will be strongly reminiscent of GTA. After all, there are a lot of former Rockstar employees working on this project. Nevertheless, one should not assume that it will be a clone. The futuristic setting and the vague description indicate that many other activities will also be possible in the game.
So studio head Leslie Benzies mentioned that while they are incorporating a lot of traditional game mechanics, you can also expect a lot of open-ended elements. If the game turns out to be similar to the movie Ready Player One, we can expect many different missions and challenges. Shooter-style combat, car racing and other concepts should be no problem.
Everywhere is being developed with a big budget. The studio recently managed to raise 40 million US dollars from various investors. Thus, Build a Rocket Boy can concentrate on the development of the AAA title.
