Netflix surprised fans today with the first trailer for Resident Evil and the second trailer comes right after it.
Because in the first one there was an Easter Egg that pointed to a website called Umbrellaisjoy.com. This link was visible on an advertisement within the trailer. Once there, Umbrella’s latest product is first introduced. A short time later, the entire website transforms and the second, secret trailer is played. In this one, we see a little more of the monster design – including a giant spider.
The new Netflix series for Resident Evil launches on 14 July.
