The survival horror game Tormented Souls 2 was announced at the Future Games Show, and is set for release next year.
The newly announced horror game is likely looking to follow in the footsteps of Resident Evil and Alone in the Dark, just like its predecessor. Tormented Souls 2 was announced during gamescom as part of the Future Games Show with a short trailer. Here’s everything we know so far
A Claw in the Dark
The announcement trailer for Tormented Souls shows us very little of the new game. We see our character, who has already sustained some injuries and is wearing a blindfold, standing in a dimly-lit church
Suddenly it goes dark, and in the flickering light of her lit lighter, we see a nasty claw grab the fearful woman’s shoulders before the trailer ends with a roar:
A brief description also reveals that Tormented Souls 2 probably wants to revive the qualities of its predecessor (extremely popular with players)
Caroline Walker returns in a sequel to the award-winning, classic survival horror game. Explore eerie monasteries and other nightmarish locations. Get ready to confront scary creatures, armed only with homemade weapons, as you desperately try to save your cursed sister.
After we got to play Caroline Walker in the first Tormented Souls, part two continues her story. This time we have to save our sister from the greatest danger. In the process, we are transported to Puerto Miller, a South American city with a dark past.
In addition to battles against sinister monsters, Tormented Souls 2 also promises difficult puzzles in which we have to combine various resources in order to progress. The developers have not yet revealed when the game will be released.
What do you think of the first trailer for Tormented Souls 2? Have you already played part one enthusiastically and are looking forward to the sequel? Or have you never heard of the predecessor, but would like to play survival horror in the style of Resident Evil? Or does the game not appeal to you at all? Feel free to let us know in the comments!
