Indie developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games unveiled new concept art for The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria during a livestream. This adventure game takes you to the fourth age and lets you return to the mines of Moria.
When we think of The Lord of the Rings, many of us probably automatically think of Gandalf”s epic cry, “You can”t get past!”. You will now return to these mighty halls of Khazad-dûm in the upcoming adventure game The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria. You take on the role of a dwarf who is summoned to the Misty Mountains by Lord Gimli at the beginning of the Fourth Age. You are to descend deep into the mines and reclaim all the riches that were once lost. Meanwhile, be careful not to make too much noise as you go about your mining, for many dangers await you in the deep darkness.
The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria offers you numerous survival and crafting elements You will have to hunt, gather resources, watch your ambient temperature and volume, and fight enemy orcs in between. To progress further in Khazad-dûm, you will need to build bases that will not only protect you. Let your creativity run wild as you build a secure bulwark against the evil in the dark.
Last but not least, Moria gives you plenty of room to explore. Go solo or in multiplayer mode with up eight players on a journey of adventure where no two ventures are alike.
