Podcast co-founder and industry insider Nick Baker claims to know from a source that Electronic Arts is working on a new Marvel game. On his podcast The XboxEra, he talked about the speculation but didn”t give any more specific details.

Disney has been bringing in some partners to work on Marvel video games lately. Be it Firaxis for Marvel”s Midnight Suns or Insomniac Games for Marvel”s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel”s Wolverine. Now it seems the multimedia company has landed itself a new partner and that partner appears to be none other than EA. Speaking on The XboxEra podcast, insider Nick Baker explains that he was sent a video from a person containing more details about the production. However, in order to protect that person, he said he did not want to reveal any more information.

If this rumour really turns out to be true, EA would be involved in two Disney franchises at once. Besides the as yet unknown Marvel project, there would be Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which was recently announced. Since Lucasfilm Games is officially back again, Disney seems to be generally interested in further expanding its gaming pillar. Other projects from the company would be Star Wars Eclipse, unnamed titles with Bethesda and Ubisoft, and Return to Monkey Island. The group is also working with other partners on smaller projects such as Disney Mirrorverse and Disney Dreamlight Valley.
