SEGA announced Samba de Amigo: Party Central for the Nintendo Switch in February. Now the Japanese studio reveals another participant in this dancing fun: Sonic the Hedgehog!
The dance game Samba de Amigo was released back in 2000 for the SEGA Dreamcast. Eight years later, a new edition was released for the Nintendo Wii. Now the Switch is also to get into the dancing mood with the third remaster under the additional title Party Central. At launch this summer, 40 songs will be available for you to dance to in a variety of modes, challenges and mini-games.
After release, more tracks will be added through regularly released DLCs.
As SEGA announced yesterday afternoon, Sonic the Hedgehog will now also be part of Samba de Amigo: Party Central. Together with him, you can expect two songs from the video game series: Escape From the City (Sonic Adventure 2) and Fist Bump from Sonic Forces. There will also be a stage based on City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2. In this stage, we will also see the hedgehog himself shaking a leg.
Samba de Amigo: Party Central does not yet have an exact release date. On the (official website) you can pre-order the rhythmic game.
