What happens in Season 6 of The Finals and when does it start? We have all the answers.

Celebrated for its incredible level of destruction and team play, the arena shooter The Finals goes on the offensive for Season 6.

We’ll summarize what you need to know about it here!

Release of Season 6

  • Start date: March 20, 2025
  • Release time: approx. 11:00 a.m.!
  • Duration/End: approx. 3 months / mid-June 2025

    New weapons in Season 6

The Finals are expanding their arsenal in Season 6 with three new weapons, with each class receiving a new gun.

    • ARN-220 (Light class): An assault rifle based on the BRN-180 series with a fast firing rate and double magazines, ideal for medium distances.
    • CB-01 Repeater (Medium class): A lever-action rifle with high damage – but you’d better get every shot right. Based on the real Marlin 1895.
    • M134 Minigun (Heavy class): A Gatling based on the real XM556 Microgun with an insanely high rate of fire, but movement restrictions.

    Maps in Season 6

For Season 6, the developers at Embark are promising a “remix” of a popular map: Las Vegas is becoming Las Vegas Stadium! This is what it looks like:

The map will have a completely new look and numerous improvements, including:

    • Clearer paths
    • Improved flow of play indoors
    • Reworked design

The developers have confirmed that the original Las Vegas map will return at some point after Season 6.

    New Battle Pass

As usual, there will of course be a new Battle Pass in Season 6 – in a free and a paid version. Here is all the info:

    • Style: The aesthetic of the new content is inspired by sporting events from the 80s and 90s.
    • Tiers: There are 106 levels and 1,575 Multibucks to unlock in the premium version.
    • Price: The premium edition costs 1,150 Multibucks again, which is equivalent to 10 euros.
    • Free: If you don’t buy the Battle Pass, you can still get 26 free rewards.

Tip: If you complete the Premium Battle Pass in full, you’ll even come out ahead and end up with a little more Multibucks because some tiers in the Battle Pass also give out real money currency.

    Power Shift & Team Deathmatch

Among fans, the two modes in 5v5 format quickly grew from an experiment to a surprise hit. That’s why Season 6 is going on the offensive twice here:

Power Shift is now also available on:

    • Bernal
    • Las Vegas Stadium

    TDM becomes permanent mode on:

    • Fortune Stadium
    • Seoul
    • SYS$HORIZON
    • Las Vegas
    • Kyoto
    • Skyway Stadium

What is this? In Power Shift, the usual heist to rob a vault is not the focus; instead, two teams of five players each wrestle for control of a floating platform that must be “escorted” to the enemy base. Team Deathmatch (TDM), on the other hand, is the classic and simple battle for the most kills.

    Sponsors in Season 6

    The choice is:

    • Ospuze (Pro Juice Energy Drinks)
    • Engimo (communication technology)
    • Alfa Acta (defense and security)

How do sponsors work? Again, each player can sign up with one of three fictitious sponsors and gradually unlock corresponding (cosmetic) items from the respective company.

But be careful, the choice needs to be well considered! Changing sponsors is final and cannot be changed during the season. Sponsors have no influence on weapon selection or game balance.
