The Skyrim Anniversary Edition will offer fresh quests that should be a reason to rejoice, especially for fans of Oblivion and Morrowind.
The Skyrim Anniversary Edition will be released on 11 November 2021, just in time for the tenth anniversary of the cult role-playing game from Bethesda. Since most players will have already spent hundreds of hours in Sky’s Edge, the makers naturally had to come up with new content to lure even the most experienced dragon blood back into the game. And two of the fresh quest series should elicit a nostalgic sigh from series fans in particular.

Morrowind and Oblivion in the focus of the new tasks
The two quests in question are Ghosts of the Tribunal and The Occasion and are thematically oriented towards the popular series parts Morrowind and Oblivion.
It is not yet known what the content of Spirits of the Tribunal will be. It will probably have something to do with the former government of the Morrowind region or the three tribunal gods Almalexia, Sotha Sil and Vivec. What is certain, however, is that in the course of your adventure you will be able to find more than a dozen new weapons and pieces of armour that fans will recognise from Morrowind.
The occasion marks the return of one of the most popular features from Oblivion: The Gates to the Realm of Oblivion. For the Mystic Dawn sect, known from the fourth installment of the series, is up to its mischief again to open a new portal into the realm of the Daedra prince Mehrunes Dagon. New enemies, locations and weapons await you here. As a special treat, there’s also a summonable Daedra horse!
There are good reasons why a ten-year-old game is still so popular. It’s not for nothing that modders are currently working on an Oblivion remake in the Skyrim engine. After all, the game world of Sky’s Edge is considered a masterpiece in terms of open-world design.
What else is new in the Skyrim Anniversary Edition?
If these fresh quest series aren’t enough, you can look forward to countless other contents. After all, Bethesda has taken a look at which fan-created mods are particularly popular in the Creation Club and also packed them into the Anniversary Edition. They will also be working on the graphics again.

As nice as this new content boost for Skyrim may sound at first, the Anniversary Edition also comes with a big risk. Because due to the technical changes under the bonnet, it is possible that a large part of your mods collected and appreciated over the years will become unusable.
