Great news for Spellforce fans: The big free update for part 3 of the series is now available on PC. The extensive revision of Spellforce 3 listens to the subtitle “Reforced” and is released on 6 December 2021 at 7 pm German time. What does the update bring? Numerous improvements, corrections of known mechanics, new game modes and also functions.

This has been revised: Among other things, the skill trees have been revised and there are new spell mechanics that only became part of Spellforce 3 with additional expansions. The balancing has also been improved, with the developers once again tackling the allocation of loot to different characters. The AI in the real-time strategy matches has also been attacked again, while the camp has been completely reworked and now comes with shorter waiting times. Graphics and interface have also been tweaked, plus there’s full gamepad support.

This is new: Excitingly, the new skirmish map “Bitter Gorge” in a mountain setting is also likely, while the Hero’s Journey mode has also been added. This is similar to the “Free Play” mode from the original Spellforce, can be played in co-op and should offer a lot of replay value. You can now also compete in an endless arena mode, fighting off wave after wave of enemies and equipping yourself with new items and spells between rounds.
