Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has a release date: On 20 October you can swing through the streets of New York again.
The sequel to Insomniac Games’ hugely successful Marvel’s Spider-Man has only been shown off for the first time in recent weeks at PlayStation Showcase 2023, having been announced back in 2021. At Summer Games Fest 2023, the developers are now following up and revealing when you can swing through the street canyons of New York again in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 2 won’t be long in coming
This time Geoff Keighley’s guest on stage was Bryan Intihar, the game director of the highly anticipated sequel. The crafty presenter was able to elicit some exciting new details from him during the conversation.
Intihar reveals that Venom is not the well-known Eddie Brock this time. Who is in the symbiote’s costume, however, will remain a secret until the release. Fortunately, Keighley was also able to elicit the release date from the developer: Spider-Man 2 will be released on 20 October 2023
In addition, Intihar also hints that other well-known Marvel characters will play a role in the plot alongside the villain Kraven. Already at the PlayStation Showcase it was revealed about the story that both Peter Parker and Miles Morales will serve as protagonists and thus two different Spider-Men will be in the game.
