A year and a half after the release of Splatoon 3, Nintendo is launching a new expansion. This is called Call to Order and offers you a challenging Roguelite mode. Shortly afterwards, the bloom season starts at the beginning of March.
On February 22 Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass owners will receive supplies. On this date, the new expansion Call to Order will be released.
In this Roguelite mode, you take on the role of Inkopolis Dweller No. 8, who must fight his way to the top of the Tower of Order to retrieve the missing colors. He is accompanied by a drone pretending to be Perla from the pop duo TentaCool
On each floor of the tower, players can select one of three targets. These change with each attempt and become more difficult with each new floor. Once a challenge has been mastered, players receive color chips that can be used to customize their own palette according to their preferences.
If you don’t make it to the top, you have to start all over again – true Roguelite mechanics. The color chips collected up to that point are converted into in-game currency, which can be used to purchase permanent improvements
As Nintendo states, both pros and beginners should enjoy this Splatoon 3 expansion.
