The 2000s were a veritable gaming festival for Star Wars fans. Capitalizing on the hype surrounding the prequel trilogy, developer studios released various games based on the fantasy epic. These included not only the popular Knights of the Old Republic franchise. The two Battlefront titles were also released during this time. However, EA s reboot attempts released in the 2010s were not well received by the community.
Now Aspyr is breathing new life into the original games and releasing them next week under the title STAR WARS Battlefront Classic Collection.
The STAR WARS Battlefront Classic Collection lets you experience the iconic battles from Episodes I-VI and the rise of Darth Vader’s 501st Stormtrooper Legion. Your task is to recruit troops and use your tactical skills to conquer the galaxy.
These epic battles can be fought on the one hand with ground troops. These can be made up of Wookie warriors, jet troopers and droideka, among others. On the other hand, iconic vehicles such as speeder bikes, AT-STs, AT-RTs and other defensive and offensive vehicles are at your disposal. Of course, you can also launch air raids using TIE fighters, X-wings and other legendary spaceships. Epic battlefields serve as venues that support up to to 64 game ends

The STAR WARS Battlefront Classic Collection will also support the Hero Assault On ground maps such as Death Star, Kashyyyk, Kamino and Naboo you will be able to decide whether you can fight with heroes or villains
