Stealth is to be further improved, and there are also many bug fixes in the new update.
Star Wars Outlaws has just received its second major patch.Update 1.2tweaks the intelligence of your opponents and also Kay’s skill – no more constant speeder accidents!
There are also many bug fixes, stability should be improved and elements will be adjusted for some quests. You can find the complete patch notes on page 2 of this post. We’ll start by introducing you to the highlights.
How big is patch 1.2? You have to download about 5.6 GB on PC, 3.8 GB on PS5 and 4.7 GB on Xbox.
The most important changes in update 1.2
Improvements to sneaking: This is where the update should improve a number of things, for example, how quickly the enemy AI detects you, how NPCs are positioned and patrol, and how useful features in the environment are displayed.
Faction Missions: You can now see immediately and unambiguously which syndicate a quest belongs to. Previously, only the faction symbols were displayed next to it, which could easily be confused.
Speeder: The camera during rides has been improved, and you should now get thrown off less often. Your trusty steed should also react better when you call it to your position.
Kay: Some of the character’s animations have been improved. There’s also a button for quickly throwing grenades. Kay should get stuck in the environment less often and his grappling hook should work as intended.
The patch also contains further technical and gameplay improvements, all of which are listed on the next page. Caution: the last section on quest changes may contain spoilers!
Further patches for Star Wars Outlaws are likely to follow soon. According to Ubisoft, the game has missed its sales targets for the time being, so the studio is apparently keen to release fixes and improvements. What changes are you still hoping for? Feel free to write it down in the comments below.
