Where are the ray tracing specifications?
On August 30, 2024, it’s off into the infinite expanses of space withStar Wars: Outlaws .
While we’ve already been able to let off steam in the open world over the past few days – more on this in the Plus article below – publisher Ubisoft has finally revealed more about the PC system requirements.
One thing the information provided so far has not told us, however.
On theofficial page for Star Wars: Outlawsthere are a total of four different requirements for your PC in order to run the game smoothly in the respective default settings.
Without ray tracing enabled, the system requirements are as follows:

This is where the missing information mentioned at the beginning comes into play:Because in the further course of the website there is no reference to the requirements with activated ray tracing.
Neither is it made clear whether and to what extent upscaling technologies such as DLSS 3.5 or AMD FSR play a role.
In particularNvidiastirred the drum for the upcoming Ubisoft game. According to this, Star Wars: Outlaws will support the following technologies:
- DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction
- Nvidia Reflex
- RTX Direct Illumination
In view of the feature list, it is all the more surprising why Ubisoft has not clarified the specifications required for this – there is still some time until the release on August 30, 2024.
