We show you the most watchable new trailers of the week! This time with hotly anticipated game releases and the cold horror of the human psyche.

Great feelings, the ultimate comeback story and one of the most anticipated shooters: we show you the best of trailer material that the last week had to offer.

The gamescom 2023 is also the right time to watch nice trailers. So let’s not mess around, but go straight to the four best trailers of the week over!

Don’t watch trailers, rather gamble? On the other hand, you can find out which important new games have recently been released on Steam in our overview.

Place 4: Starfield

Starfield is approaching the release at the speed of light and Bethesda is stirring the advertising drum vigorously. The trailer with real actors wants to bring you closer to the plot and pulls out all the dramaturgical stops to do so: an emotional farewell, a promise to explorers and a soundtrack that gets under your skin. All in all, it’s a short but intense film experience.

If you’re still not quite sure what to expect with Bethesda’s first new brand in 30 years, feel free to read our review article on (Starfield).

Place 3: No Man’s Sky

Who would have thought at the release of No Man’s Sky that developer Hello Games could still pull the cart out of the mud. Even more, who would have expected seven years of releasing one free update after another, often taking on the proportions of a washed-out expansion? Probably few, and yet that’s what has happened.

With Echoes, an update is released that introduces a robotic race including its own storyline, reworks space battles on a large scale and enables huge cargo battles with space pirates. But even aside from the bare-bones content, the trailer is simply beautiful to look at.

Place 2: Stalker 2

The call of the zone is getting louder, Stalker 2 is nearing release (despite being delayed). At gamescom 2023, the developers of GSC Game World will also be present, including this new gameplay trailer.

Different from the previous footage, this video gives a stronger glimpse  of how it will feel to actually play Stalker 2 And for those familiar with its predecessor, it’s hard to resist getting goosebumps.

In the meantime, we were able to play Stalker 2 ourselves. However, editor Dani is anything but enthusiastic about the technical state of the demo. Meanwhile, there is still some time for fine-tuning and optimization until early 2024.

Place 1: Ad Infinitum

The absolute best trailer of last week is hard to beat for oppressiveness. The theme is also zappenduster. In Ad Infinitum, you play a soldier whose psyche suffered badly in WWI.

Now he has to fight against the madness that threatens to take over him in the form of monsters. The way the trailer presents the subject is really not for the faint of heart. The visuals and sound play together perfectly, conveying confusion, despair and sheer fear in a very haunting way.

Which new trailer did you like best this time? Is it perhaps a completely different one that we didn’t include here? Feel free to write your opinion in the comments!
