After the rumor mill started churning again last week, Sony confirmed the suspicions yesterday evening. There will be a new State of Play, which will be unusually long this time. The hotly anticipated Death Stranding sequel will also be included.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 31 at 11pm the latest edition of the PlayStation State of Play will take place. A total of 40 minutes are scheduled for 15 games, but so far only Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade have been officially confirmed.
However, Hideo Kojima also made it more than clear last night that he will also be represented at the State of Play. On his Instagram channel the video game creator posted the banner of the current State of Play.

Kojima is currently working on two major projects. On the one hand, there is a still mysterious title that was revealed at the last Xbox showcase. On the other hand, there is of course the eagerly awaited Death Stranding 2, which according to rumors could be called “On the Beach”. After only showing a trailer for the game so far, fans are naturally looking forward to further insights

In addition to Death Stranding 2, the gaming community is hoping to see a few more titles at the State of Play. These include Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which is also due to be released soon, and Silent Hill 2, which has also been suspiciously quiet again since its announcement.
If you want to watch tomorrow’s showcase, you can tune in on YouTube, Twitch and Tiktok.
