We”ve scoured the stores again for the best deals and have found some bargains

It”s Wednesday again and you know what that means: Midweek Madness! As always, we”re rounding up the best sales from Steam, Epic and GOG so you can get your latest game for as cheap as possible. As always, there are some great deals waiting for you this week.

Want to know what new games are coming this week?

~ (Then check out our release overview) ~

Highlights of the week:

A Plague Tale: Innocence

(Genre: Action-Adventure – Developer: Asobo Studio – Release: 14. May 2019 – Platform: Steam – Price: 8 Euro (reduced by 80 percent) – Offer valid until: August 1, 2022)

Rats are already disgusting in reality? After A Plague Tale: Innocence, you”ll see the ravenous critters in a whole new light. We play young Amicia, who is on the run from the Inquisition with her sickly brother Hugo in 14th century France. As if fanatical religionists weren”t problematic enough, the country is also beset by a murderous plague of rats.

The action-adventure game not only convinced in (our test), but even made it to place 42 of the best story games of all time. A second part is already being worked on. We talked to the developers about how the rather self-contained story is to be continued!

No Man”s Sky

(Genre: Open-world sandbox – Developer: Hello Games – Release: 12. August 2016 – Platform: Steam – Price: 28 Euro (reduced by 50 percent) – Offer valid until: August 1, 2022)

What a disappointment the release of No Man”s Sky was in 2016. A lot of promised content was still missing and the mega-open-world was ultimately very sparse and quickly boring.

Hello Games held on to the computer-generated sci-fi game, however, and that has paid off in full. With constant free updates, No Man”s Sky is now a real sandbox highlight! Heiko also noticed this half a year ago!

And since then, only more free updates have followed. Just recently, another free add-on was released with Endurance, which (is also really boosting player numbers).

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun

( Genre: Real-time tactics – Developer: Mimimi Games – Release: 06.12. 2016 – Platform: GOG – Price: 4 Euro (reduced by 90 percent) – Offer valid until: August 1, 2022)

Mimimi Games has made a real name for itself in the industry in a short time with real-time strategy games like Desperados 3. You can now get their first real-time tactics masterpiece Shadow Tactics for just 4 euros. You play different ninjas and samurai in 1615 Japan to eliminate the Shogun”s enemies.

In our review from 2016, Shadow Tactics already impressed us, but six months ago the add-on Aiko”s Choice was released, which only made the game better. You still have to buy the big DLC separately, but the additional content is also reduced on GOG right now and costs only 8 Euros instead of 20 Euros.

                            • Batman: Arkham City GotY Edition: There”s hardly an Arkham game you can really make a bad purchase with, but Arkham City still convinces most fans the most thanks to the exciting story. (5 Euro, reduced by 75 percent)
