As every week, numerous games are discounted on Steam. We have picked out some of the most worthwhile offers for you

It’s time again for the weekly Steam Sale: Hundreds of games are currently available at lower prices on Valve’s platform. We’ve picked out some of the best deals for you. As always, all games have never been offered at a lower price on Steam before

Highlight of the week: Dead Space Remake

(Genre: Survival-Horror Release: January 2021 Price:21 Euro on Steam, 65 percent discount)

The Dead Space Remake is a lavish new edition of the 2008 horror classic. The entire game has been rebuilt in EA’s chic Frostbite engine and the result is impressive. For us, the remake turns the already great Dead Space into a masterpiece.

This is mainly due to the fact that the developer has tackled motifs in exactly the right places: The already oppressive atmosphere in the original is made even denser by the graphics improvements, and the new audio design captures us even more in the gloomy corridors of the USG Ishimura.

In terms of content, however, the remake stays as close as possible to the original. Although our hero can finally speak, we experience the same exciting story as in the original, even if some level sections have been expanded. Anyone who has always wanted to fight repulsive monsters on an abandoned spaceship now has an excellent opportunity
