On Steam, Celeste has achieved a whopping 97 percent rating. You can still get it for a bargain price until July 11th

The Steam summer promotion is slowly coming to an end and you’ve only got a few days left to grab a great bargain. Now is the best time to catch up on this masterpiece, even if it will probably make you tear your hair out

Conquer Mount Celeste and with it your inner demons

This indie game is perfect for people who love emotional stories and don’t shy away from challenges.Celesteis a platformer with a retro look that combines bizarre characters and sophisticated gameplay. The adventure is now available on Steam for just two euros!

You take on the role of Madeline, who has set herself the task of conquering the mighty mountain called Celeste. You will jump and climb your way through a total of over 700 sections and face your very own demons.

Because Madeline is not the only one on a journey of self-discovery. You as players also have to overcome your own frustration, because this adventure is not easy.If you slip or jump at the wrong moment, it means: start all over again.

But don’t worry, you won’t be hit quite as hard as in games likeGetting Over Itand the like. In Celeste, you simply start at the beginning of each section of the game. This is still annoying at times, but you’ll still make regular progress that nobody can take away from you.

(In Celeste you sometimes run away from yourself.)
(In Celeste you sometimes run away from yourself.)

This can also lead to you closing the game in frustration and restarting it after half an hour, because you won’t let yourself get down that easily. Short breaks helped me more than once to get to the next section. And that felt good!

If this is still too easy for you, there is a so-called B-side for each chapter. This turns the ascent into an even tougher fight against gravity (and other things) and demands more precise jumps and even better timing from you.

But the developers have also thought of you if you’d rather just relax and play. With the help mode, you can slow down the pace of the game or give yourself invincibility and unlimited stamina. So everyone can have as much fun as possible

Now there are no more excuses to let this masterpiece fester on your wish list. You can still buy Celestefor two euros on Steamuntil July 11.Have fun climbing and remember to take your breaks!
