The starting signal for Survival Fest followed on 1 August 2022 at 19:00. Since then, you can find just about all the current discounts and celebrations on Valve”s (overview page).

Survival Fest on Steam ends on 8 August 2022, also at 19:00. So you only have one week to secure the corresponding offers.
Which games are reduced?
Not surprising with the name: Survival games. However, this doesn”t just mean classic representatives like Ark: Survival Evolved, but rather Valve”s definition goes a little further. We present a few selected highlights:
Rust
(Genre: Rust – Release: 08 February 2018 – Price: 20 Euro, reduced by 50 percent)
When it comes to survival games in general, the name Rust should definitely not be missing. The game from the developer Facepunch Studios is one of the founders of the genre and delivers everything you are looking for in this genre: You have to take care of your hunger and thirst, gradually assemble your own equipment, build up a base and much more.
The focus here is on the PvP part. Although there are individual PvE elements in Rust, these are more of an accessory. Instead, everything revolves around battles and sometimes also intensive roleplay on the many online servers of Rust.
Besides Rust as a classic, however, there are even more offerings:
- Ark – Survival Evolved: Also a genre classic that has thrilled gamers for years with its dino scenario and extensive survival elements. (8 Euro, 67 percent off)
- DayZ: After a rather bumpy Early Access run, the spin-off of the Arma series has meanwhile developed into a dignified genre representative and still delivers unforgettable adventures. (24 Euro, reduced by 40 percent)
- Subnautica: An underwater adventure that, unlike many other survival games, is a purely single-player experience, but still focuses on the struggle for survival. (15 Euro, reduced by 50 percent)
- Ancestors – The Humankind Odyssey: The action adventure tells of the evolution of human history and begins in Africa about ten million years ago. (16 Euro, reduced by 60 percent)
