There are two discount promotions on Steam right now: Mystery Festival and Publisher Sale from Disney with Star Wars and more. We pick out the best deals for you.
The constant game sales on Steam have long since become a running gag. Right now there are even two promotions running at the same time, so there are a lot of special offers on the programme. At the Mystery Festival, all kinds of puzzle games are – logically – reduced, while Star Wars fans and nostalgics will be happy at the Disney Publisher Sale.
So that you can keep track of all the discounts, we have rummaged through the offers and picked out the best ones for you.
Highlight of the Mystery Festival: Gamedec
(Genre: Role-playing game – Developer: Anshar Studios – Release: 16. September 2021 – Price & Discount: 14,99 Euro (reduced by 50 percent)
Gamedec could be described as the little sci-fi cousin of Disco Elysium . Although it is much smaller and simpler than the story masterpiece, the principle is basically the same: the focus is on the story and exploring the world, there are no real battles, but there are numerous decisions with harsh consequences. Many of our possible courses of action are hidden behind skill checks.
The setting should especially appeal to cyberpunk fans: We are in 22nd century Warsaw, where indescribable luxury and technological progress meet abject poverty and gruesome crimes. We are a gamedec, a kind of investigator, but specialised in virtual environments.
In plain language: We travel through different worlds via VR technology, which are inspired by Farmville, for example. There we not only have to deal with criminal cases, but also really difficult moral questions.
