A Reddit user with tons of storage space was able to answer one question. How much space does my entire Steam library need?

Can you actually have too many video games?  No, at most too little space, thought Reddit user glass1217 and decided to simply install his entire library.

The fact that he had to install a whopping 2,612 games is impressive, but the fact that he still has 1.7 TB of free storage space afterwards could make you jealous.

So how much space do you need for so many games? &nbspAccording to the Reddit post, they take up 14.3 TB plus another 357.26 GB of DLCs.

Ever decide to just install your entire library? Just me?

In a comment , however, glass1217 explains that the 20 TB hard disk on which his library is stored is not part of a gaming PC. It has just 4 TB – ridiculous.

He uses all that memory as a server from which everyone in his house can simply download the game they want without having to wait for a long download.

Which games are in the library?

Glass1217 does not reveal this. On average, each of his games takes up around 5.6 GB of space, but for many of them this is just enough for a few cutscenes.

For a Red Dead Redemption 2, Baldur’s Gate 3 or Forspoken, 150 GB are sometimes required. Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond requires 180 GB and Ark: Survival Evolved can grow from the basic version with a good 200 GB to a good 300 GB with DLCs

How big is your Steam library?

You can find the number of your games on the top left of the list, just make sure that you display all games and not just the installed ones. The small “Play” symbol must be grayed out for this

When it comes to the required hard disk space, things are a little more difficult. Currently there is only the somewhat tedious method of marking all To do this, tap on the first game in your list, then hold down Shift and select the last one in your list

Then right-click on the list and press “Install all”. You will now see the size of all the games listed and can add them up if you want.

Tell us in the comments how many games are in your Steam library? Can you beat the 2,612? Have you been able to find out how much storage space all your players would need? Would you like to have access to all your games at all times or would you be afraid of not being able to choose one?
