Subnautica 2, everything as usual: In an interview with the YouTube channel Anthomnia the president of Unknown Worlds, Charlie Cleveland, also confirms the name: Subnautica 2. Not photorealistic: Because even though Subnautica and the spin-off Below Zero are beautiful games, neither of them attempted to achieve state-of-the-art graphic standards, instead sticking to a high-quality but simplified look.
So the new spin-off will certainly flex its ocean muscles on a new technical level, but the visual relationship to its predecessors should remain intact.
